A Woman Sells Half of a Three-Storey House

On October 7, AD 586, Tapia sold Kyriakos half of a house for five solidi. The Greek contract describes roof terraces, a vestibule, gateway, stair, courtyard, oven and rooms on three floors. Few documents let us see the physical layout of an ordinary property this clearly while also preserving the legal act that transferred it.
