Nine Arouras Are Leased for Cultivation
On October 13, AD 306, Aurelia Antiochia, also called Dionysia, leased nine arouras of land to Aurelius Dioscorus for one year. The Greek agreement preserves the agricultural terms and identifies both parties. It is a compact example of how landholding and cultivation were negotiated in Roman Egypt.

Two Men Offer to Lease a Field for Flax
