Guilds Declare Monthly Prices to a Civic Official
On November 26, AD 338, several Oxyrhynchite guilds submitted declarations of the prices of goods they handled during the month. The surviving columns include trades such as coppersmiths, beer sellers, bakers, oil sellers and beekeepers and were addressed to the curator Flavius Eusebius.
