    A Pancratiast Lends 152 Drachmas

On September 29, AD 281, Aurelius Cornelius of Hermopolis acknowledged borrowing 152 drachmas from Aurelius Phoebammon, who is identified in the Greek document as a pancratiast. The loan was due to be repaid within the same month, giving us an unusual glimpse of an ancient combat athlete acting as a creditor.
