    A Cattle Transfer Is Reported to an Oxyrhynchite Official

    On February 2, AD 23, Cerinthus, a servant of Antonia daughter of Drusus, wrote to the strategos Chaereas before passing through his jurisdiction with cattle. The surviving document combines a Greek petition with Cerinthus’s Latin subscription.
