A Church Lector Declares Church Property During the Great Persecution
On February 5, AD 304, Aurelius Ammonius, lector of a former church at Oxyrhynchus, submitted a declaration concerning church property during the Great Persecution. The text states that a bronze vessel had already been handed over to the logistes for Alexandria.
